ALLSOPP’S

I had the hugely exciting opportunity to help reimagine the historic ‘red hand’ brand logo of Allsopp’s. With a legacy dating back to 1730, Allsopp’s boasts a rich history as one of the leading breweries of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, with a stunning visual archive to boot.

Once thought to be used by innkeepers to signify that their beer was in saleable condition, the open hand is designed to stop you in your tracks and demands your attention. I joined forces with Alec Tear to bring a modern illustrated take on this iconic symbol across Allsopp’s new range of original recipe lagers and ales.
